Trainers Course
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
This Trainers Course has intended with this training action that the trainees update and acquire new practices in the area of Adult Training.
The trainees should be able to carry out a training action, correctly performing the duties of a professional trainer.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
At the end of This Trainers Course, trainees should be able to:
a) Prepare, develop, and evaluate training sessions through:
• Definition of pedagogical objectives, in operational terms
• Selection and application of pedagogical methods and techniques best suited to the objectives, target audiences and training context
• Selection and design and adaptation of didactic resources in diverse supports, according to the pedagogical strategy adopted
• Construction and application of assessment tools, based on previously defined objectives, to enable verification and monitoring of learning outcomes, efficiency, and effectiveness of training
• Elaboration of a training session plan
• Establishment of a pedagogical relationship that facilitates learning processes
b) To reflect on the training systems, through:
• Presentation of criticisms, suggestions, and proposals that can contribute to the improvement of training systems, at the technical-pedagogical and/or organizational level.
